Skincare with Pixie

Hey! How is your spring going? Today I’m going to talk about skin care products, which is one of the most important topics in spring! Recently I received a package from Pixie by Petra. It’s skincare and makeup brand based in the UK, but the products are made in the USA. I have never tried anything from this brand’s products before, but I heard a lot from other bloggers and I was really curious to give it a try! They sent me a big package with skin care products and the main purpose of this set is to relax and give yourself some “me time”. In the set, there was 5 different type of masks and a face towel. I have dry and irritated skin and I always need to take good care of it, so I was really happy when I saw that they sent me skin care products. I’ve been using these products for about three weeks now and I think I’m ready to share my opinion with you. So let’s jump into a review!blogpixie-17 Detox – Glow Mud Mask
This mask is for pore clearing and glow-revealing, also it is good for tired and dull skin. So, this one is like a basic mud mask. The product is grey color and has a natural muddy smell which I kinda liked. Feels nice when you put it on, I can’t even explain that feeling, I would say it’s something similar to a cooling effect. After the procedure face feels nice, maybe a little bit dehydrated, but I guess it is my dry skin’s problem. All in all, I liked this one for the smell and the feeling.

Peel – Peel & Polish
This one is more like a cleanser or a scrub than a mask. It’s a peel treatment which is easy to do at home. This one polishes, lifting away dead skin cells and reveals more smooth, radiant and healthy skin. I would agree with the fact that it’s really leaving smoother and radiant skin, this product does its job really good. One thing I didn’t like is the smell. The smell is sweet and too annoying for me.

Glow – GLOW Glycolic Boost
It’s an instant brightening and hydrating effect sheet mask. The mask serum is based on acid concentrate and herbal extracts that help to improve and maintain skin health, promoting more luminous skin. So, basically, it is an ordinary good sheet mask to brighten and hydrate face skin. The set of three masks cost £10, so I would say it’s an amazing value for the money.

Purify – T-Zone Peel-Off Mask
Purifying and detoxifying peel-off mask with unique green superfood blend which helps to refresh and refine the skin. I really love masks that you need to peel off, so this one is one of my favorites from this set! Also, it has a beautiful green color and smells fresh. I liked that it doesn’t hurt to peel it off and it dries really quickly.

Depuff – DetoxifEYE
This is depuffing under-eye patches infused with cucumber and gold to help soothe, nourish and fortify. Also, it helps to reduce the dark circles which is the most important feature for me, because I always have circles under my eyes. Patches really look and feel like cucumbers on the skin, especially if you keep them in a fridge before using. Talking about the smell, it is almost odorless. In one package there are 30 pairs of these patches, which I think is a great idea because you don’t need to worry about them using up.

All in all, I can say that I’m really happy that I had a chance to try this brand’s products! I liked Glow mud and T-zone peel off masks the most and loved the packages that make this brand look really attractive in my opinion. I’ve left the links to all these products under each product review. If you were searching for the review of Pixi products, I hope you made up your mind if you want to buy it! If you have tried something from this brand I would love to hear your opinion in the comments! More blog posts are coming soon!
